It’s been 13,148,719 seconds since I stopped caring.

Well my math may be off. It usually is. Essentially, that’s when everything in my life changed…for the better, that is. I walked out on my job at the dress shop as a manager because they were being bitchy and I took a leap of faith to figure out who I really was.

Not that I know who I am now, I’m just…closer than I was 13,148,800 seconds ago.

I started my semi-dream job as a graphic designer. And well, that’s what I DO. I make art. Of the design kind, but also of other kinds, which I hadn’t done in awhile. Finally after all this time, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

So, why do I say I stop caring? You don’t understand. Dress shop=stuffy corporate-pencil skirt-no creativity-too nice to everyone-high heels-dirty backstabbing bitch world. I don’t care about any of that any more. I’ve found sweet freedom.

As always,

Java Monster + Sketch Convienient Store = Death

I know, I know. In my last post I said I’d see you guys on Monday. It’s Tuesday. No, believe it or not, I did not get my days confused (yet) (this week). I was really bad sick yesterday though. I potentially had some sort of food/drink poisoning. Never, ever down a Java Monster in 30 minutes from a totally sketch convenient store if its the last one on the shelf. You’re welcome for that wise advice.

Anyway, this weekend was crazy awesome. We drove a few towns over on Sunday (2 hours away, I gave J-Bird a car concert the entire way, love you honey) for an art show & to see some family & friends we hadn’t seen in forever.

We visited with my mom & cousin for the first part of the day, which by the way, if you think I’m nuts, my mom is ten times nuttier. Ah, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. When we get together we’re like two very embarrassing peas in a pod for J-Bird. My cousin, Natalie, is my favorite, normal family member (on my side anyway) so its always a joy to see her.

We also met up with our favorite double date couple Haley & Justin for dindins. After that is when we drove home & I got sick & almost died. I’m feeling a little better today, butttttttttttt not much.

Oh, yes. A shout out to my best friend Bernard for graduating on Friday!! Congrats!

So, there’s my weekend in a nutshell. Hope everyone else had a terrific weekend/weekbeginning.

Its like taking a chain letter to a whole new level of chain letterness.

I got tagged to answer some questions by one of my favorite other bloggers, Mooselicker, here on this post. I’ve decided to break all the rules of the initial post & just answer the 11 questions. Cuz that’s what I do. Break rules. Enjoy.

1. When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? What did you think you would become? A meteorologist. When I realized I was bad at both math & science, I gave up on that dream & started pursuing happiness.

2. Who is your biggest celebrity crush? Easy! Rupert Grint.

3. Angels, Bigfoots, or Aliens; which one do you think is most likely to exist? Bigfoot. C’mon I know you guys have seen that show Finding Bigfoot. That shits real.

4. What is something that everybody seems to enjoy that you hate? Adele. Already covered that one.

5. If you opened your front door and I was there, what would you say? What would you really be thinking?
AHHH!! Why is there a stranger at my door!? You’re not the mailman! Because I don’t know what you look like.

6. What is your favorite movie and why? I have lots. Maybe I’ll do a post about them. If I had to pick one, though, it’d be Alice in Wonderland (the newest one). Terrific acting, soundtrack, & wardrobe.

7. There has to be something that you believe you’re the best at, what is it? Finding bargains.

8. Who is the ugliest person you know and why are they so ugly? I ain’t gonna call anyone out by name now, but…

9. Is love unconditional? Depends.

10. Lots of people have addictions. What is yours? Cheesy TV shows. And my hair.

11. What is the nicest compliment you have ever received? What is something that you would like to be complimented more about you? I really appreciate when people compliment my artwork & I would love it if people would compliment it more (Just replace the word “compliment” with “buy”).
